A.Eberle

The REG-D/DA developed by A.Eberle GmbH of Germany are now standard designs for many Australian power utilities. They are also the most widely used tap changer controllers in New Zealand. HV Power supports both these NZ and Australian users. Transmission and lines companies implement these “one box” solutions for automatic voltage regulation and temperature control of their substation transformers.

LVRSys is used to correct voltage issues on 230/400 V distribution systems, which are becoming more prevalent in the distribution system due to the rapid uptake of imbedded solar generation and large peak loads such as fast electrical vehicle charging.

The A.Eberle REG-DP controller for classic Petersen Coils is one of the key components in HV Power’s RE+DS system. Control of the coil allows it to act as a Rapid Earth Fault Current Limiter (REFCL), while A.Eberle’s EOR-D & EOR-3D provide highly effective earth fault detection and location capabilities.

A.Eberle also have a range of power quality analysers for portable field use and models for permanent monitoring. This technology solves a number of issues that have frustrated users of test instrument style analysers for years.

EGE, headquartered in Ceske Budejovice in the Czech Republic, is a company specialising in the manufacture of equipment for the power engineering industry. EGE has over 60 years experience in the manufacture of Petersen coils and are a market leader in Europe. In addition they have extensive experience in the manufacture of earthing resistors and earthing transformers.

All their production facilities are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited. Customers of EGE include ABB, AREVA, ENEL, E-ON, Siemens and Voith.
